Last year, legendary graphic designer Massimo Vignelli passed away at the age of 83. To commemorate his death and honor his life, Spanish studio Husmee curated Timeless, Massimo Vignelli, an exhibit of 53 original posters, created by studios around the world.
Many of the works use Helvetica and Bodoni, two of the designer's favorite typefaces and among a scant number he deemed worthy of use. There are also references to his famous redesign of the New York City Subway.
The exhibit is on display as part of Barcelona Design Week, and is available to view at Disseny Hub through August 31. Husmee is considering whether the show will travel to cities outside of Spain.
