Designers Eye: Wool Nesting Pillows & Blankets

Here's some eye candy for the end of the day (what happened to the day?). Designers Eye (no apostrophe) is a Swedish company that hits the Scandihoovian design aesthetic hard and has this winning line of pillows, blankets, table runners and even bags. We love the colorful pillows and the soft charcoal blanket. The wool room divider would be a really good idea to dampen noise in a hard surface room.

The question is where can you find them? You can email them directly and since their partner, Great Nordic Design, just opened a US base in New Jersey, we expect they'll be selling directly from here soon.

I've been very disappointed with these pillows. They're itchy (that's my fault: I should've expected this of wool felt), and they've continued to shed feathers. Every day I would pull 5 or 6 feathers off the pillow because the quills would be poking me. They looked fine after I'd pull off the feathers, but otherwise they looked terrible.

After about 3 months (with no let-up in the shedding) we tossed them. $200 poorer, but at least a little wiser.
