With the Komen Greater New York City Race for the Cure just behind us, we find it appropriate that Suite New York has created The Pink Wishbone Project to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Twenty female interior designers were charged with customizing Hans Wegner's classic Wishbone chair in bright pink — the signature color of the cause.

From October 7th - 28th, the creations will be auctioned off on Charitybuzz.com, with proceeds supporting breast cancer research. At the top, Kelly Behun's design cleverly mirrors the shapes and textures of a woman's body. Kelly Wearstler's safety-pin chair is also shown with its intricate detailing in an unusual medium.

White Enamel Flatwa...
That first chair reminds me of a cheap go-go dancer...but I think that's what the designer was going for.
While I can appreciate that a Lhasa Apso has sacrificed its life for the greater good, it doesn't appeal to me enough for me to put a bid on the top one.
These contrived art challenges for charity always fall short. I'd rather just make a donation than bid on one of these things and then have to HAVE it. But then again, I'm not one of those wealthy society types who go in for charity events... more bidding power to them, I guess.
That's great !! But, I am little bit confuse with design of chairs.
Someone has killed these chairs with bad design.
