I absolutely love Lucite. Though technically an umbrella term for clear acrylic, as is the case with Band-Aid and Kleenex, sometimes the brand name becomes synonymous with describing an item in any form. Regardless of what you call it, there are definite benefits to working Lucite into your home: it allows light to pass through, making your space look bigger; you get the aesthetic appeal of glass, minus the fear of shattering; though it appears sturdy, it's often pretty lightweight and easy to move around. And of course, it looks cool!

So let's see which Lucite listings on the Marketplace will have you seeing your design dreams with perfect clarity.

LOW

We're kicking off your Lucite journey with the smallest additions to your home. The under-$200 crowd gets you a sleek vintage ice bucket or tiered mid-century lamp, and that padded stool would work wonderfully as a comfy vanity bench. If you're unsure about how you want to work Lucite in (or are just starting on a budget), these are all excellent picks.

MEDIUM

No extra adornments with these picks; here solid Lucite really gets it's chance to shine. I love the faceted edges on those mid-century lamps, and you can't go wrong with an (essential) minimal bar cart or serving tray. But it's that columned coffee table that steals the show: I haven't seen anything else like it!

HIGH

Ok, so you've been completely converted into the League of Lucite Lovers. Every big entryway needs a good sideboard, and this glass and Lucite Milo Baughman piece is a definite attention-grabber. And while that wood and Lucite coffee table is a modern minimalist's dream, that chandelier is on a whole different level. If you're looking to turn your home into an actual Art Deco palace, you know which piece to buy.
