It's always nice when things we purchase for our home have the ability to serve more than one purpose. The Deskhouse from Nine To Nine does just that, creating a permanent play house as well as art desk, complete with chimney pencil holder! We love it's clean lines and minimalist style, the only downfall we can see is...

... the price. This Deskhouse Study and Playtable retails for $480 and although that might seem reasonable compared to other children's desks, since it's pulling double duty, all we can see is a diy project waiting to happen.

Maybe that's our own personal curse that we can look at a piece of furniture and see a few sheets of hardboard, some paint and a few nails, but this could be one knock out Christmas present (bought or made) with a little know how.
