Detroit Breaks Ground on Electric Streetcar This Month

It's been 60 years since Detroit had streetcars. Part of the revitalization of the city, construction will break ground on a new line this month along Woodward Avenue. The 3.3-mile track will have 12 stops from downtown north to the New Center district. It is scheduled to open in 2016.
