This new collection of rugs, called Losanges in the brothers' native French, is made in the traditional Persian tradition for the Spanish brand Nanimarquina.

The rugs are made in northern Pakistan by artisans who have the craft in their blood. Each carpet is subject to handmade characteristics, and each is therefore unique. We love the irregular borders on the pieces, the thirteen bold-yet-traditionally colored yarns, and the trendy exploration of geometry combined with ancient forms.
Contact Nanimarquina for purchasing information, or visit their booth at Maison&Objet from the January 21st through 25th.

That is seriously one of the most beautiful rugs I've ever seen. It's insane! Too bad I'll probably be an old codger before I can ever afford one... haha
The whole site is beautiful, though!
I am just flabbergasted at how beautiful that rug is, and wishing that it was within my budget. You could design a whole room around that thing.

This rug is amazing! I am absolutely jealous of the person who gets to roll up in it in the pictures from their site! I want to be that person and I want that in my house.
I want one immediately.
Wow! I LOVE that rug in an almost unhealthy way.
Stunning. Wonder if I can translate that design into a bed quilt... hmmmm....
