Now here's a desktop that embodies the minimalist's aesthetic to perfect effect. Diana was kind enough to share some details about her setup:
"Being a minimalist I had to, of course, try to keep my computer desk as simple as I possibly could. As soon as I bought my iMac I decided I wanted to keep my setup to both the colors on it, black and aluminum. I searched around for a desk to match them and found the Brian Computer Desk. The desk comes with a tempered glass top and has a chromed steel base. Being fan of good sound quality I had to get studio monitors instead of regular speakers. I wanted my monitors to be small and black..."
"I went to my local Guitar Center and saw then bought these M-AUDIO Studiophile BX5a Deluxe Monitors. The embedded MX5A [at the top] and M-AUDIO [on the bottom] of the face of the monitors are made of aluminum. Very small detail, but it suits my setup perfectly. I recently purchased the iPhone 3G and shortly after came across the iClooly Aluminum Stand for it that I could not pass by, being an Apple Addict myself. All it took is being a little patient to find the perfect items I needed and voilĂ , I had set up I wanted."

Love every bit of this.
I'd like to know what program she's using for the clock display on her monitor. Such a great idea for an office with no clocks outside of the computers.

emmieB: the clock display seems to be the fliqlo screensaver
