When Diane von Furstenberg unveiled her new home collection to the press last month, she proposed that "you should have as many duvet covers as you have luuvaahs" (emphasis added). By our count at the Architectural Digest show's DVF booth, the cosmopolitan woman would do well with a rack of 20.

Neatly arranged on DVF hangers, the duvet covers are striking in a group. The entire home collection is designed as a set of bold graphic patterns — some stronger than others. DVF's concept is a "ready to wear" line that can be purchased off the rack, then mixed-and-matched to reflect your personal preferences. My favorites were the kelly green Giant Grass and Zig Zag Jungle — a pattern that originated with the iconic DVF wrap dress.

The tabletop collection combines round patterned chargers with angular plates, traditional green glass goblets with mod tumblers, and colorful espresso cups with floral-patterned saucers. While the overall look was playful and cool, certain styles — like the Miro Flowers line — were a little too much to take when layered with other over-the-top patterns.

The DVF Home Collection is available at Bloomingdale's. Duvet covers range from $150 (current sale pricing) to $335 (regular price). Tabletop starts around $25.
