We came across Dianne's lovely creation on A Life More Fabulous. Parts of her garden are very structured with perfectly manicured boxwoods that create excellent hedges and topiaries. It reminds us of the beautiful gardens surrounding old European castles. Other parts of the garden are in the style of traditional English gardens - wild and romantic with blue and purple flowers. It looks untouched and indistinguishable from the creations of mother nature. Much of what you see is a result of her commitment and hard work, several years of travel and intense study. The garden is stunning. It became more of a personal sanctuary, a place to relax and find peace from the busyness of daily life.
Dianne's garden was originally featured in Oprah magazine.

Her gardens are even more beautiful in person. And she is absolutely lovely too!
The grass is not as lush and green as in England (probably impossible on Long Island!) but the gardens are stunning nonetheless.
OMG. That's stunning.
Simply gorgeous!
Amazing- I love it!
There's something fairytalish (a word?) and fantasy about English gardens. They're so lush and full, I think of garden gnomes and tiny creatures scurrying about. Absolutely beautiful.
my allergies are kicking in just looking at those gorgeous flowers. Where is my inhaler--these beautiful gardens are taking my breath away.
How lovely. Even if I moved into a place that had one....I would probably end up messing it up. Some people are just so talented when it comes to making art out of a garden.
