This beautiful garden is set on three acres of land on Long Island. It was a gift from Dianne Wallace to herself. She was told by many that she was on an impossible mission trying to create a traditional English garden in unsuitable climate of Long Island. She proved them wrong by achieving amazing results with help from landscape designer Edwina von Gal. Check out more photos after the jump...

We came across Dianne's lovely creation on A Life More Fabulous. Parts of her garden are very structured with perfectly manicured boxwoods that create excellent hedges and topiaries. It reminds us of the beautiful gardens surrounding old European castles. Other parts of the garden are in the style of traditional English gardens - wild and romantic with blue and purple flowers. It looks untouched and indistinguishable from the creations of mother nature. Much of what you see is a result of her commitment and hard work, several years of travel and intense study. The garden is stunning. It became more of a personal sanctuary, a place to relax and find peace from the busyness of daily life.
