That's right, unhappy people watch a lot of TV. At least that's what a study coming out of the University of Maryland is saying.
"We looked at 8 to 10 activities that happy people engage in, and for each one, the people who did the activities more — visiting others, going to church, all those things — were more happy," Dr. Robinson said. "TV was the one activity that showed a negative relationship. Unhappy people did it more, and happy people did it less."

Now I don't know about you, but I've got my regular TV watching routine and I consider myself a pretty happy guy. If I was watching said TV in one of the setups below, I can guarantee you that I would come out on the happy side even if I watched more TV than I do now. Hmm, maybe purchasing that 65 inch TV on black friday won't be an automatic ticket to happiness after all.
