Are you in need of some over the top inspiration for your holiday table setting? This week, Dining by Design celebrates its ninth year in San Francisco. Wednesday's Table Hop & Taste event will give attendees the opportunity to preview one-of-a-kind dining installations while sipping on cocktails and enjoying tastes from some of San Francisco's top restaurants.
Presented by DIFFA, Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, the preview event is where the awe-inspiring creativity of leading architects and designers in furniture, retail and fine arts, collectively creates the city's most anticipated high design and haute cuisine event supporting health care for uninsured HIV/AIDS patients at San Francisco General Hospital.
DIFFA's Dining by Design has always brought together some of the most talented, eclectic and well-known designers in their respective industries and 2009 is no different. With participants including fashion designer Jason Wu, event designer David Stark, Mark Blackwell, Lisa Quinn and many others, the 2009 Dining by Design dining installations will prove to be as stylish, over-the-top and cutting edge as ever.
This year's Table Hop & Taste gives guests the chance to view all tables and meet the designers while enjoying Castello di Gabbiano wines and Stolichnaya ELIT cocktails matched with delectable hors d'oeuvres prepared by several of the city's top restaurants.
The event takes place on Wednesday, November 18th from 6-10pm at the Galleria at the San Francisco Design Center, 101 Henry Adams Street.Tickets are currently available for $100 and can be purchased by visiting DIFFA San Francisco or calling (415) 597-4650.
