Digital Photos Into Wall Size Artwork

Some of you might have noticed in today's New York Times' Personal Tech section, Unplggd contributor Sonia Zjawinski reported about several services which can convert your favourite digital photos into murals, collages and even whole wall-sized supergraphics at a fairly affordable price (beware, pet lovers and grandparents may be prone to overzealous use upon learning more about these services).

We're considering adding a full size image onto our bedroom walls, but have yet to find an image which we can commit to at these gigantic sizes. Sonia has embellished her refrigerator with a photo of her feline friend, as shown above, showcasing the quality one can expect.

If it's all too rich for your blood, there's always Kinko's, where you can convert your image into a large scale monochrome ASCII poster (which we recently admired gracing the windows at Heath Ceramics) or the free large image tiling creator,Rasterbator (just make sure your ink cartridges are full).
