Attention restaurateurs - please pay as much attention to cleaning and maintaining your high chairs as you do to the rest of your restaurant. This is a dealbreaker for us as putting our baby in a sticky, germy high chair is not our idea of a fun night out. We like to see a row of clean, well-designed and comfortable high chairs like in the photo above. Can you guess which restaurant chain this is? Answer below the jump...
It's none other than Mickey Ds (a.k.a. McDonalds) at Bussy St. Georges in France. Look closely - not a dried speck of food in sight. Not even on the pristine white trays. Un cafe, s'il vous plait! Check out Stephmodo for more pictures of this fabulous McDonalds.

What sort of high chair is that? Can you get it in Canada?
The only place I've encountered a plastic-wrapped high chair is a McDonald's outside Springfield, Ill. It was a welcome, uexpected sight. A baby wipe usually does the job otherwise.
wow, id actually buy a chair like those pictured.. i want one.
This chair is very similar, but with a wooden tray. We love it.

WOW. I'm (virtually) speechless.
That it is in France is pretty amazing, as very few restaurants in France (or Switzerland or Germany, or...) have high chairs on offer (the Netherlands are an exception to this rule).
That's why, living in Europe, we always travel with our hop pop diaper bag, which turns a regular chair into a high chair.
