• Ben's Warm & Cozy Austin Apartment Ben embraces the ease and space saving magic of using a dining table as a desk. While we wouldn't say we're 100% on board with this, it's really great for those fighting for more space and double duty rooms. This works the best when you're working from a laptop. We can't suggest placing a chunky desktop on a dining table, because that's taking away from the actual function of a dining table. Desktops aren't very portable when having guests over for dinner! The laptop on the other hand is extremely portable and can easily be hidden when company is over, or if your family is simply sitting down for dinner.Chris' Industrial "Dreamer's Dream" Loft is another great example of using a dining space as a desk. We know that Chris obviously uses this space more for computing than dining, we also know that there's no way he hasn't ordered take out and plopped down on that comfortable chair and scarfed down dinner while watching a movie!
If you're tight on space or even cash, using your dining table as a desk is a really great solution! Do you use your dining table as your desk?
