I made this last night, more or less as written, and it was wonderful. My family is not fond of savory/sweet, but I used one apple and it added its aroma to that of the lemon and rosemary. It was also beautiful coming out of the oven. I need to learn to carve a chicken properly, but it tasted delicious last night and delicious again at lunch.
Cook this if you want your house to smell great!
Forget the chicken for a minute...did I just read that Maxwell and SaraKate divorced last year? I read this blog daily and never picked up on that! Wow!
