Or a Wooly Mammoth, if you prefer. If you've got a kid who is obsessed with prehistoric reptiles, Dinoprints could provide the perfect addition to a room. With an image of your child that you provide, the company makes a 2' by 3' print of him or her riding your choice of Jurassic buddy.
While the quality of the Photoshop jobs on these prints isn't out of this world, the novelty of the pieces may outweigh any nitpicking. Right now, you can choose from three different animals (a T Rex, of course, a Wooly Mammoth, or a Spinosaurus), but there are plans to add more creatures soon.
A print will run you $50, and the company provides you with detailed instructions on how to shoot the picture of your child so that the image will look as realistic as possible.
So, what do you think? Would you create evidence of an imaginary trip to Jurassic Park for your child's room?

Commercial Flour Sa...
what!!! can i put a grownup on a dino?
Yes, why just a child? I want a wino on a dino.
These are kinda scary...
My grandson would go ape over this! I'd love to do it for him.
Or better yet, if you know Photoshop or a friend that does, get them to do the same thing for you for free and a print that size would run you maybe 10 bucks.
can I send a picture of someone I hate and have the dinosaur eat them?
love the comments! lol, super cute idea, but really $50? thats steep
$50 bucks is kind-of a lot, but thats not much more than a 2x3 foot poster print would run you at Walmart... I think those are maybe $35.
Haha, I think I want one for myself! They only have 3 dinosaurs though. I was looking for the pterodactyl.
Travislessness, you read my mind.
AHAHAHAA!!! I want one of myself on a dino!
umm learn photoshop or ask a friend and you get this in 10 minutes of work and for FREE ;)
My 5 year old would LOVE this. $50 is a bit much, but I could do this myself!
Dear Apartment Therapy,
We noticed the review above stated our Photoshop work isn't out of this world and wanted to ask if it was based on an actual print you received? We are happy to send you a sample which shows the quality that someone can expect when we receive a good customer photo. If you did get a poster you are not satisfied with, please let us know and we are happy to rework it to your satisfaction.
Finally, we feel our posters are fairly priced. If you consider the capital investment and time required to organize this type of business, artist time, customer service time, cost to pay the illustrator, hosting costs, material costs, credit card fees, office lease, utilities, insurance, storage and shipping costs, packaging, furniture, software etc... we have to sell quite a few Dinoprints to be able to stay in business and provide what we believe to be a fun and valuable service to those who want it.
Finally, Dear FINJA and ADRIENNEMESCHELLE, don't forget you have to purchase a copy of Photoshop for $1,299 before you spend a few hours learning it, and I'm sure you will purchase the rights to copyrighted original artwork from an artist before you build your own Dinoprint ;)
Regards,
David

I think this is definitely worth $50. It seems like a beautiful product, equally nice are the custom art prints at www.graphikcanvas.com , though these are a little bit more painterly or graphic effects stylization of personal photos, they are great nonetheless. Now to search the interwebs for more custom artwork!
Dear Dinoprint,
people can do that either with the FREE 30 days trial of Photoshop or with FREE and online accsessale photoeditor on www.pixlr.com/editor
There are many tutorials online go learn basic photo editing skills, maybe if someone learns to do the dino pic they can also do other creative stuff with it.
I didn't suggest that because I wanted to ruin you business ;) as a graphic designer I know too well that the price is accurate. I just wanted to animate interested readers and/or people on a budget to join my hobby and learn this wonderful skill.
I just wrote it a bit clumsy, having made a quite similar poster for my stepson the other day, that post just reminded me of it.
Sorry and have a nice day! :)
