We've previously talked about the M-Edge Leather Case that Transforms Your iPad into a Moleskin. Well, we've found another iPad case that claims to do the same and it looks as though it's doing a fine job in the role of disguise.
The DODOCase disguises your iPad and makes it appear to be a Moleskine. We all know and love Moleskine and why wouldn't we want our iPad to look like one? We're favoring the DODO over the M-Edge because it seems to be made better.
The DODOCase is made by hand in San Francisco using traditional book binding techniques. The covers are made from faux leather and are designed to fold back so it doubles as a stand for your iPad. An elastic strap keeps your iPad sealed tight when you are on the go.
The interior is made from high quality bamboo. Trays are carved carefully to match the curvature of your iPad and give you access to all buttons and ports. It's important to be able to access each port while an iPad is in a case or dock &mdash otherwise, they sort of defeat the purpose.
The building process is done entirely by hand and mimics the process of traditional book binding. Take a look at the video for how the DODOcase covers are made:
First edition DODOCases are being sold for $49.95
