My parents put out a big, soft white bear from Frederick & Nelson's during the holidays when I was growing up. Perfect for a home with kids — but how do you feel about displaying stuffed animals during the holidays? Especially if you don't have kids? We're tempted, especially by this Missoni reindeer.
If you do it, and think it can be done well, send us links to your photos. Inspire us!
And if you like this Missoni reindeer, Design Milk found it at Colette for €135 in three color options.

My family puts out Christmas Baby Muppets every year. & beanie Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer characters. I say go for it.
Every Thanksgiving, when we put up the tree & decorations, I bring out some of my stuffed animal collection - a huge "Beethoven" St. Bernard, "Babe" the pig, a Grinch, Tigger, the Taco Bell Chihuahua, and others. My kids are grown, but we all love stuffed animals!
That's one crazy-ass Nativity scene!
Grow a pair and put out what you want. If you're so afraid that something won't be considered "iconic', 'ironic' or 'done right, you're a ninny.
I just bought a huge stuffed shark and turtle to use as throw cushions on my couch... so I'm going with a yes.
undercover, I want to see photos of your couch! It sounds awesome!
Absolutely. The other 11 months of the year I shy away from stuffed animal decorating (except for maybe one or two sentimental ones in my bedroom), so when the Christmas season rolls around, plush reindeer and snowmen abound!
The holidays bring out my inner cheeseball.
I have multiple sentimental Christmas stuffed animals or dolls- but they have to stay out of range of the pesky dachshund!
Frankly, I have a few here & there that stay out year round- one is a long, vintage black dachshund I bought in London. He's so chic and cute- he gets to be around all the time! :)
Regardless of if I have kids, I want my home to be playful :)
as long as their not in the rear window of your car, they are okay
I have a stuffed shark on my sofa as well! Maybe I should give him a santa hat to be more festive :)
My mother saved some of the Christmas stuffed animals over the years and each we put them under the tree - there's a Christmas mouse, a Christmas basset hound and a big Christmas moose with bells on. Their happy faces under the tree brings out the joyful kid in me every time...
I have a very fat penguin with a scarf around his neck. His name is Waddles... and I've had him since i was 6.
None of the above? (re survey)
Stuffed animals deserve to have Xmas too!
We don't have kids (yet) but we put out Playmobil toys, a stuffed penguin pillow and the cats get really excited about playing with their stuffed reindeer toy. There is nothing wrong with indulging in childhood pleasures around Christmas.
I dont have kids but I have a stuffed dog (the cats snuggle with) thats been around since I was baby, It was my graduation gift from my grandmother. I also have various suffed critters (cats mostly) scatted about. Holidays mean picky penguin comes out.
Stuffed animals love christmas too!
I hung a stocking off my inflatable deer's antlers. And my "tree" is one of those outdoor lightup reindeer with ornaments hung on him:

stegersaurus and Chloe C - thank you for sharing your pictures! I like how the outside light-up reindeer looks inside. Creative.
