I love coming across clever DIY ideas that use found objects in a way that is both functional and playful. Normally, old door locks and knobs might not have a place in the modern home, but this project proves that the possibilities are endless when it comes to thoughtful creative reuse.

Designed and built by Kara and Tim Palsay, the coat rack is constructed from a combination of salvaged door locks and knobs and a piece from an old door jamb. The locks serve as key holders while the knobs are the perfect size for handbags and jackets.
