Have you been eying those apothecary style candy jars everyone has been using for their childrens' birthday parties? Me too but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on them just yet. Now that I stumbled upon this great DIY idea, maybe I won't have to.
Kayleen made these candy jars herself using a set of candleholders. She found hers for $10. A bit of primer, some spray paint and three clean glass jars later, Kayleen had herself a beautiful candy display. For more details on how to re-create this for ourself, run over to Kayleen's blog This Old Chair.

this is seriously clever, fun, and stylish!
I love this! I'm always afraid someone will knock over and break the traditional apothecary jars, but there is less glass to worry about with these. And the glass is easily replaced. Great job!
I like this idea, and even pinned it on my Pinterest boards. That's also another thing I'd like to point out: I'm getting disappointed that websites I read to find new ideas just highlight projects I've seen circulated all over the internet. :(
@klo29 i feel exactly the same way.
So clever!
