With all of the technology and information sharing available to us, more and more projects can be DIY instead of store bought. Now it's true that DIY doesn't necessarily mean dollar savings, but it does mean shared time and a personalized result. We have long loved the idea of creating a baby first words book and the beautiful simplicity of this one has prompted us to get a move on it.
We found this over at Party Perfect. Mom Sara bought the scrabble-like letters from a thrift store and put them to good use spelling out first words for her baby. She then used iphoto to layout the pages and had it printed (for about $28).
We're going to try blurb for our book. Anyone else create a baby book before that can offer some tips?
