There are lots of DIY options if you want to get a summer hopscotch tournament going. We love this idea from Mom's Crafty Space since it adds color and functionality to your backyard, all while providing some old school fun.
Heidi constructed this board from pavers that she painted in a rainbow pattern, but you could use any color scheme you choose. Place the pavers farther apart for older kids, or lie them directly adjacent to each other for little ones. Heidi notes that the board brings color to her side yard and also provides a convenient path for her when the yard is wet and muddy. The older kids like to play traditional hopscotch, but even the toddler gets in on the action by walking the path and reciting his numbers.
