DIY Batik Floral Wall Hanging

Once a month, friends Nicole and Kelli hang out, get their creative groove on, and collaborate on a DIY project together. The past fruits of their labor include beautiful handmade watercolor paper flowers, seen here. This April, they created an equally gorgeous fabric wall hanging using an age-old batik dyeing technique.

I love how simple and natural it turned out. I can see this working beautifully as a backdrop for a party or as a wedding decoration. For full instructions on how to do this yourself, head over to Kelli's blog for the whole shebang.

I, for one, can't wait to see what Nicole and Kelli do in May. Thanks for sharing you two!
