Now that the holidays are past, most of us are no longer keeping our gift wrapping essentials in our living rooms or out in plain sight rather. Instead of taking up room in your closet or under your beds, try this diy behind-the-door organizer that lives inside a laundry room!
Kate in California loved the looks of on-the-wall style wrapping organizers. They keep everything you need at your fingertips, any time of the year, but she just couldn't bring herself to pay for what she could make herself.
She set to work with with the help of a few household tools, she created this fabulous little organization station. It hangs in her laundry room, behind the door. It's an easy place to get to and isn't in the way of other things. Kate spent roughly 2 hours (including dry time for the paint) assembling her craft and we think it's a great way to take control of those unruly rolls that are floating around your home.

Centsational! Here's a tip for those of you who are brave enough to take this idea a step further...
This set-up is shallow enough to fit between studs in the wall. I simply added a door cut from inexpense plywood, covered it with some original artwork (coordinating wallpaper or fabric is a great choice if you're not feeling artistic) and finished it off with a frame...actually some fancy molding from the salvage bin at a big box store. A little paint & some hidden hinges and voila!
No one would suspect the framed art hanging above my folding table is secretly keeping my "dust free" wrapping station. I also added a few small hooks for the tape, scissors & handmade gift tags which are hole-punched and threaded with twine or cording.
Several plain wraps & a variety of ribbon and there's no occasion I can't handle. I have silver foil, soft pink, robin's egg blue, white (freezer paper) annnndddd... kraft paper, for those times I'm feeling krafty and have a lil extra time on my hands =]
Hey, thanks so much for the feature ! Honestly, I look at this every day and love it so much !

I love it, thanks for the idea, I sure will copy it!
