It seems the only thing people don't like about Beni Ourain rugs is their price. We've previously rounded up sources for buying them, but if that just isn't in your budget, perhaps you'd like to try your hand at a DIY version.

These projects all start with one thing: a white, ivory or cream colored rug. From there, these DIY'ers have used different materials and methods to create a Beni Ourain look.
