Start the new year off right: get your kids to love doing laundry! We've seen some wooden toy washing machines that are quite beautiful, but this DIY cardboard one is easy, inexpensive, and quick to whip up.
On Craftster, Nancy Clark posted her clever idea for upcycling a Home Depot box into a toy washing machine that is light enough to be carried from room to room. By adding a laundry basket inside, you could even have your kids carry their own laundry in their own washing machine.
