Here's a useful way to repurpose all that excessive packaging from Amazon in one afternoon. With this crafty pendant light all aglow, it's hard to tell that it's made entirely of scrap cardboard!
The simple DIY makes use of nothing more than a sheet of corrugated cardboard, a can of spray paint, and a $5 pendant light cord from IKEA. Strips of cardboard are bent into pentagons, then layered and glued together to form a modern-looking fixture.

More importantly, where did the awesome letterpress art come from?!
I agree with CarynR !! That is actually what caught my eye. Not the lamp! LOL!
Hi Guys! That's actually my apartment up there with the lamp and the letterpress blocks. My husband and I found those at the Hell's Kitchen Flea Market in NYC, just after we got engaged, and got them for each other as an engagement gift. I have a blog post about it here: http://lovelyindeed.com/flea-market-find-vintage-letterpress-drawer/
What a great idea! Love projects like this -- high on creativity and ingenuity, low on time and cash =).
I think it might even look cool to use cardboard that has printing or mailing labels on it from the old boxes.
