Just when we thought we couldn't love Lindsey Adelman any more thanks to her ridiculously amazing (yet slightly unattainable) lighting designs, she has to up the ante. Lindsey recently posted DIY instructions and a supply list on her website so you can make one of her chandeliers at home. Hello girl crush.
We've been adoring Lindsey Adelman's work from afar for some time now, but we are even more impressed that she would share her genius with her admirers. Her DIY instructions include clearly illustrated diagrams, a thorough supply list and links to suppliers that carry all the necessary parts.

Don't be daunted by the complex design as Morgan of The Brick House followed the directions and made one herself (with a few modifications). Now, we all know Morgan for the awesome DIY pipe shelving she made, but she swears that instructions for the chandelier include "pretty basic stuff."

Weekend project anyone?

That is uber cool! I've always wanted to dive into the world of creating light fixtures, but felt I needed some guidance. There I go...
This is so perfect!! I've been wanting to make a chandelier for years but just needed to find the right sources. Thanks Lindsey.
This looks amazing. Anyone know what the rough cost of the materials would be?
lululeydi - if you read Morgan's post at The Brick House, she mentioned that the parts were roughly $120.
Thanks hsp!
anybody got a source for glass globes like in her lighting for sale?
I've seen globes like that at box stores like Target. They always seem to be the last ones left because they're not frosted. I've also seen larger globes at Home Depot, etc, but I imagine a lighting store would carry specialty globes, too. At least mine does in Ann Arbor, MI.
We just finished making ours. The final cost was about $145 with shipping, but totally worth it. Putting it together reminded me of nothing so much as tinker toys; really fun. I took pictures of a few things that I needed to have explained to me and posted them here.
