Wanna impress the kids with a little DIY lighting for their room? Using less than $10 in material, including a recycled glass bottle, a 15-40 watt appliance bulb, some squirts of "pearly-type" hand soap containing gycol stearate or distearate, and some tap water, you too can revisit those Summer of Love days with your own homemade lava lamp. neat-o!
This is great. Is it okay to put the bottle in upside down (as long as it doesn't touch the bulb and is very well sealed)? It might make a better shape depending on the bottle.
