Melissa over at The Sweet Escape sent us photos of her reusable DIY advent calendar. She says that it's fun & colorful for the kids, but also "stylish enough for mom" to happily hang in her space. As a bonus, felt is both affordable, easy to sew, and available in lots of great colors.
If you own a sewing machine, it's a pretty quick project that can be done this weekend (you need to let the glitter dry over night). The materials (felt, sequins, ribbon, branch, glitter glue) are all very affordable, or even free if you've already got them lying around the house.
The finished result is a funky hanging piece of geometric art for your space that also helps with your Christmas countdown! Head on over to The Sweet Escape
for the full tutorial and lots more photos.
Thanks so much Melissa!
