The older I get, the more I forget to take the time to celebrate the seasons and my favorite holidays by decorating my home. But this year I'm determined to squeeze every bit of fun out of this holiday season, and I'm looking for easy, not-too-cutesy craft projects to get my home into the Halloween spirit fast this weekend. I found six you might like to try, too! No glitter required.
Pictured above: Perk up your coffee table, side tables or any tables with these cute, simply painted but effective candy corn-colored DIY coasters. Seen on Alyssa & Carla.
Doesn't get very much easier than this cute project. Grab some orange patterned fabric, throw it in an embroidery hoop and embellish with a sweet green ribbon for an array of crafted fabric pumpkins you can hang or display. Spotted on let's eat grandpa.
These paper cut-out spider webs are neat because they're simple, geometric and easy-to-make. They'd look great on a door, but also a few of them arranged on a wall for contrast would make a cool Halloween display, too. Found on babble dabble do.
Yes! Make fun Halloween candles out of real apples, and bob for fun fall scents. Seen on say yes.
We're loving these Halloween-inspired wax candles. Similar to the project we posted yesterday (How To Make Decorative DIY Halloween Candles) these we saw on SewforSoul are created in a similar, easy way, but offer some more inspiration for images!
If you'd like to add a little decor for the Day of the Dead along with your Halloween decor, you'll like this cool flower adorned skull that involves grabbing a cheap plastic Halloween decor item and creatively gluing fall hued blooms on top. The idea comes from Pretty Prudent.
