
Instead of effectively torturing our children with slide show night of our holidays in the Bahamas back in the 90s we could make a cool curtain out of our old slides. An upcycled curtain with some lasting entertainment value; we think that's a pretty good idea. We also like the way the light reflects colors on the floor on a sunny day.

doesn't the sunlight degrade the images? I wouldn't try this without first having those slides digitized.

As a kid I put up slides on my windows from my Opa of my Mother etc and the sun has faded and ruined them. The colours are no where near the vibrancy they once were.
If you have no attachment to the slides, go for it but otherwise I would avoid doing this to precious memories.
