This DIY dollhouse is absolutely breathtaking. All the tiny toys, the wonderfully mismatched furniture, whimsical prints, photorealistic accessories. And it's for Charlie and Lola? But wait, it gets even sweeter.

The best part of this dollhouse is that Amy Hanson of Sweet Sweet Life made it with her daughter, Sofie. She followed a tutorial at Cookie magazine for the walls, and then they went to town decorating it with little bits and bobs she had around the house. The only thing she had to purchase was a piece of foam core and some spray glue! When you look at her photos, you can feel the joy she and her daughter felt working on this project together.
Amy's own words sum it up best: "No expectations, purely for fun, room to be silly...I think I forget, sometimes, that you have to allow yourself those things to really enjoy creating." Be sure to check out more of Amy's beautiful photos and her full tutorial.

Oh stop it that's too cute!! Charlie and Lola are total fashion/design ICONS.
My DIY dollhouse is jealous of this DIY dollhouse. I LOVE the little dolls and the eclectic decor. This house looks so well lived in and fun!
GDW I love your DIY just as much as this one! They both ooze charm and style. Now I must think of a boy them house...maybe a Garage or Man cave of some sort because I need me one of these :)
*I* want to play with this! Love Charlie and Lola. Wish we had more of their toys and things in the US.
Oh my gosh, this is the cutest thing ever! I vaguely remember the Cookie one (too bad it's gone now). I love that she took the time to make a tutorial. I can't wait to make one with my five year old.
