Dabble Magazine's added another reason to our list of many to get ourselves an iPad this year. The new online publication is a mix of travel, food and decor stories. We loved the feature on creating your own DIY faux-paneled walls, a perfect way to add a little glamor and architectural interest to an otherwise plain Jane room.

Use two colors of paint, some 1" wide painter's tape, a metal ruler and a level to create this geometric pattern which not only adds interest to your walls but creates the illusion of height, a bonus in a small room. Use the same technique to add faux-paneling to plain wood doors. For a more dramatic look, try black and white, navy and white or black and green.
