Remember the floppy disc pen holder? Brit & Co had the same idea, but for outdoors, with this great looking DIY floppy disk planter that anyone can make with some hot glue and a plant container. I love how she even makes use of the disk label to note the plant type and care instructions.

The process looks a lot easier than other up-cycled floppy disk wares we've posted in the past. Using these bright colored floppy disks and keeping the center hub concealed also makes for a happy and modern look — I'm imagining one in yellow on the ledge of my office desk now.

If the blog sounds familiar that's because the gal behind Brit & Co was also featured on our Behind the Blog series earlier this year. You can read up on that story here — at least so you can tell your friends you saw a dog named "Pixel."
