Meghan was inspired by the Mosaic wallpaper of Minakani Walls. The price tag, however, left her flat. So she did what any other design-oriented parent would do; she re-created the look herself.
Meghan (DesignTripper) used a cardboard triangle as a template and traced the triangles over the entire wall. She then went back and painted each triangle by hand. The result has a stunning effect. We love the color combination as a highlight wall for the two twin beds. For more photos and to read more about how Meghan accomplished this feat, visit momfilter. Shaw's Original Fir...
Love those beds!
I wonder if this could be accomplished by applying origami paper squares (cut on half) with a removable adhesive.
beautiful!
Tmoore, they're equilateral triangles so you wouldn't be able to just cut the squares in half. But I like where you're going with that idea!
Ha, you're right mudmaven! I should have looked closer (or on a regular screen, as opposed to my iphone):)
I came back to this post because I haven't been able to get the idea out of my head. I think I'll have to try this on a wall in my girls' bedroom. Or the bathroom. Maybe the kitchen...
oooooh, those spindle beds!! ♥
Wow, lots of work. Dedicated mommy. :)
