I am more interested in the bookshelf than the wall art.
The bookcase just looks like freestanding bits of wood - four of which are painted.
The geometric wall art is rather cool. I bet it could be done with yarn and dress pins instead... Easy way to go for a bright pop of color without paint.

The wall art may look ok if it had proper angles, distance etc., as right now, it certainly doesn't. It's very 'off.'
The wrong lengths and angles would drive me nuts every time I looked at it.
