My best friend has had two oversized crepe paper flowers for years that I have always coveted. They've moved with her from house to house and are always displayed in a large vase in such a beautiful sculptural way. Now, I'm going to make my own!

Craft, one of my favorite inspirational sites for all things do-it-yourself, spotlighted this amazing (and simple looking) DIY from Green Wedding Shoes. While stunning for the bride and her ladies, I love this idea even if not for a wedding!

I'm really excited about finally having my own large, sculptural flowers! This technique seems applicable for all sizes of flowers, and clearly any color can be used. Go check out the great tutorial that reader Nata put together at Green Wedding Shoes!

White Enamel Flatwa...
I used to make these all the time when I a teenager out of aluminum foil, pipe cleaners and floral tape. It is really easy and fun, and it makes an awesome decoration. I might give the super-sized version a try!
Love this!
I love it for a cure to the winter blues home decor! Make a couple in coordinating colours, put in vase and voila! Add a spritz of some essential oil...oh the possibilities.
I LOVE FLOWERS. AND I LOVE THIS.
I made some when I saw it on GWS and I found that ones with more petals turned out better.
