We're obsessed with everything chevron at the moment and were excited to see how easily Jess Constable of Makeunder My Life was able to transfer the regular pattern onto canvas for DIY wall art.

First, Jess printed a free stencil found at Sunset. She then repurposed some existing canvases and placed the printed sheets directly onto them, marking all the points of the zig-zag pattern with push pins. After removing the paper, Jess filled in the white lines in the pattern with blue painter's tape while using the push pins as a guide. Once the negative space was blocked out on the canvases, she pulled out the push pins and painted over everything, including the blue tape. Once the paint dried, she pulled it off and found clean white chevron shapes beneath.

oh, I love the chevron pattern. I've used it myself in my basement bathroom, here: http://styleingwithchildren.blogspot.com/2011/03/basement-after.html
those same canvases were my inspiration!
Awesome! These could go anywhere! Bedroom. Bathroom. Kitchen. Dining room. Home office. And the possibilities are endless (Thin. Thick. Multi colored. Base for a collage.)
