Usually, when making a holiday garland out of string and adding elements such as beads or popcorn, the focus is not on the string. This simple holiday DIY project turns the traditional garland on its head by placing the emphasis on the color of the string. The addition of simple wooden beads makes for a playful aesthetic juxtaposition.
While this DIY is pretty simple to complete, the design blog Curbly makes it even easier with step-by-step instructions and images. Brittni Mehlhoff of Curbly explains:
We all love to decorate for the holidays, but most of us don't have a ton of time to dedicate to it at the end of a long day, especially during this hectic season. So, if you're looking for a quick and easy garland solution for your tree this year, I've gotcha covered. It will take five minutes or less, and the finished project is a little more unique (and modern) than you can find in stores.
