Freshening up a piece of furniture with a new coat of paint is nothing new, but as Rachael from Penelope and Pip demonstrates to the readers of the blog Say Yes to Hoboken, the right choice of color and combination of materials can really make a huge impact and add a dose of cheer to a previously quiet piece.
Here is what you will need:
1. Spray paints in assorted colors (Rachael used pale pink, pale blue and gold)
2. Glitter tape (found at the local craft store)
3. A cabinet (this one is the Osthamra wall cabinet currently available at Ikea)
4. Painter's tape
7. Drop sheet for the paint over spray
8. Varnish (optional)
I am a big fan of being thrifty and remodeling items I already have around the house, so today's project shows you how to transform a bland wall cabinet you may already have hanging in your bathroom into something pretty (and glittery!).
