Inspired by a DIY project seen on the site, Little Green Notebook, Caitlin of Caitlin Wilson Design submitted her version to the site, a DIY Ikea hack that transforms an ordinary white cotton chair into a glamorous and eye catching spotted graphic print.

Nomade Express Slee...
Glamorous? Please check the dictionary, there is no WAY that word applies here.
Yeah, it kind of looks like a white chair that's been scribbled on with a sharpie.
But there's a framed Chanel ad in the background. It's SO glamourous!!! ha ha
This is one of the WORST DIY's I've ever seen! Come on AT, give me a break.
101 Dalmations! This belongs at Cruella DeVille's home!
No matter how dry, short of a scotch guard, that will come off on your clothes
no.
Sharpies smear so smudgily... seems self-evidently seat-defeating to me.
it looks like it's a ripped out magazine page, right?
the chanel ad, i meant
i kind of really love it, but i would be too scared to have anyone sit on it in fear that the sharpies would smear on clothes. isn't there a fabric marker or paint marker out there that would work better?
To be fair, it does (from a distance) replicate the original Brunschwig & Fils "Les Touches" pattern pretty well. Why that particular fabric (which apparently just looks like a bunch of Sharpie splotches) has become so popular is another question...
does this not smell terrible?
Tough crowd! I agree that this is not the most impressive DIY, but it's an interesting idea. If someone were to take this a little further, I think you could end up with something pretty cool.
This is an interesting idea, but I feel like sharpie is the wrong option because it's prone to fading (especially if the chair is going to be placed somewhere with a lot of sunlight). I'd love to see this done with other materials. The pattern also doesn't suit my personal tastes, but to each their own.
