Even when you can recycle, letting go of some of our beautiful magazines can be tough. Designer Sean Miller has come up with a great solution: create a shelf. Find out how he did it beyond the jump.

Using his National Geographic collection Sean has repurposed old magazines into a beautiful and useful shelf.

According to Inhabitat:

First Sean coated the magazines with a water/starch mixture and then he placed them under pressure for about a week to harden. Next he took a band saw to the consolidated stack and carved out the space for a shelf. About 80 magazines were used.

So simple and so lovely. See more of Sean Miller's work here.
