Sometimes, the best ornaments or decorations are the ones you make yourself or with a loved one. Making a new holiday ornament each year can be a great tradition to create special memories that store bought pieces just can't compete with. Here, Victoria Hudgins of the blog A Subtle Revelry demonstrates how to make a sweet and simple ornament or decoration for gifts that include three festive elements in one piece: animals, sparkle and tassels.
Victoria Hudgins of A Subtle Revelry explains:
Everything about Christmas should make us smile, including the tree! Craft up a few 'party animal' ornaments to quickly get into a joyful and festive mood. They easily lift a hurried holiday mood with every passing glance and would be great toppers for presents as well.

what a cute idea!
Nice idea. My favorite tree was the year I decorated with all glass ornaments. A store about 40 miles from me had tons of glass Christmas ornaments . . . dinosaurs, dolphins, cowboy stuff, ballerina, house, cacti, bells, shoes, old fashioned street lights, hummingbird, elephant, lion, tiger, swan etc. etc. etc. Beautiful tree: glass ornaments, hot pink light clusters, white lights and silver sprays.
