With Valentine's Day around the corner, it's time to start thinking about all those class cards. Instead of giving candy, there are plenty of other Valentine's Day options, and while you're at it, why not seize the opportunity to have some fun with your kids? Here are 10 relatively inexpensive ideas to get the V-day creativity flowing.

TOP ROW:

  1. Valentine Monster Pencils via The 36th Avenue
  2. Thumb-body Loves You via Simply Kierste
  3. Lightsaber card via Keeping It Simple (Even if you want to skip the Star Wars theme and the glow stick, this is a great basic idea for turning a dress-up session into a Valentine card. Play, photograph, put a cute caption on it, and print. Easy!)
  4. Paper Airplane Printable via No Biggie
  5. Radiating Hearts Card via Paperblog

BOTTOM ROW:

  1. "Your Friendship is Il-loom-inating" (Loom Bracelets with Printable Card) via Thirty Handmade Days
  2. Melted Crayon Hearts via Princess Pinky Girl
  3. "I Love You" Googly-Eye Valentine via Parents Magazine
  4. Paint Chip Bookmarks via Old Town Home
  5. Monkey Papercraft Card via Crafty Morning (She also has a list of a lot of other fun, easy, and cute Valentine's crafts here.)
