We're fans of Gail, of My Repurposed Life, whose clever projects are beautiful and inspired. We loved her custom bench, made from a curbside dresser, and the toddler bed she made from an old door. Now's she got a cute corner bench and table set that she concocted from an old bed's headboard and footboard.
While Gail's projects do require some carpentry skills and tools, they are generally manageable and her step by step instructions are clear and well-documented. What's most significant, though, is the inspiration Gail provides in demonstrating inventive ways to reuse and upcycle old pieces.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Love it! Makes me think it would be cool to have a set of kid's furniture purposely designed to fit together in different configurations as needed.
This impresses me. I have good ideas, but my execution often leaves something to be desired. This looks lovely.
Thanks so much for featuring my kids bench and table, but even more so, thanks for your kind words about what I do. I do LOVE doing this stuff!
