As days grow darker and temperatures drop, you may find yourself looking for ways to keep your kids busy and productive around the house. Last month we posted about DIY Kids, a resource and inspiration book filled with DIY projects for your kids to make. We have two copies to give away to AT Nursery readers and all we ask is that the winners send us a photo and short description of a project your kids make within a month of receiving the book.
Leave any comment below by midnight Wednesday (10/24) if you’d like a chance to win – two names will be randomly drawn and contacted for mailing information.

I'd love to win.. & try out projects with my son! We need indoor activities!
pleaseandthankyou :)
the phrase "i'm bored" is all too prevalent in my house so...me, please.
I have such fond memories of a book I had when I was growing up called "Make and Do" I think it was part of a series...the cover was purple..anyone in AT land remember this? I'd love to have such a resource for my two boys.
Ooh! OOH!OOOH (waves hand in air frantically)
Please!
Count me in!
Pick me! Pick me!!!
My girls and I desperately need some inside things to do this winter! Pick me!
I'm already sidelined with a newborn and a toddler so this will be good immediately!
i would love that book so i would not have to hear "i'm booored" all the time.
Their first DIY book was so great, can't wait to see this one and share with the kid.
I would love to see this book!
If this book has activities for toddlers, I pray that the gods that govern over random drawings smile upon me. It's been rainy and miserable all week here in Vancouver (just a taste of winter to come), and our municipal workers' strike means that all the libraries are closed and most community centres aren't operating. We're starting to go a little all-work-and-no-play-makes-Jack-a-dull-boy over here.
Count me in!!!

I would really love to try out this book, both with my 3-year-old and the 10- and 11-year-olds I teach. I could base a review on both ends of the spectrum, if selected.
I'd love to give this my 8 year old! Looks like a fun book.
And me too! I would love love love this! Not only for my kids but to use with my students as well!

As a mom of 4 (ages 3, 5, 6 & 8) who loves to get messy, crafty, and have fun with my kids, I'd love to win. We'd give the book quite a workout and provide a review from different points of view age-wise.
Wow, cool book! I'll put my name in the hat.

I have a baby, a toddler and a schoolie who are all bored of my playdough or baking efforts. Please pop me in the draw, we need all the inspiration we can get!
My daughter has just gotten into the "let's do a craft!" stage, so this could be very handy, indeed...
Me and the girls (and maybe the hubby) would love to do something like this.
This looks like a great book.
With seven children, this book would come in handy!!
Sounds great!

This book looks awesome, and I have hers great tgings. I would LOVE this book. Pleae Pick ME.
I have been wanting this book for some time!!! Please randomly select me!
Oh! I NEED this! We are sequestered because it's RSV season and my daughter is high risk for this. We're already finding ourselves bored in the house...
Love it!!!
I have Design It Yourself by Ellen Lupton and this would make a fine companion. I am a young uncle and I want my several niecees and nephews to be exposed to the sort of old school creativity we amused ourselves with as children. i think their generation is entirely too attached to the keyboard, so when they visit I want them to have options outside of myspace and youtube.
I too remember "Make and Do." It was a volume in a collection of children's encyclopedias devoted entirely to arts and crafts. There were directions for hundreds of bizzare things like coffe can stilts, and even a hot-dog costume!!! Don't Hate!!!
Looks like a great book!
I just put this book on my amazon wish list today! Would love to get it for free!
Ooh ooh. I want it! Gimme gimme!
Thanks!
Oh joy! This would be perfect. I have two girls and am going to grad school. Between work and school and making meals and cleaning house, it's hard to come up with creative projects that we can do together. It would be nice to let my big girl pick a project and we could gather supplies together and sit around after dinner some night and get crafty!
Our family would LOVE this book! Great contest!
I LOOOOOVE kids craft books. Can never have too many, and I want to see this one!
