Your drinking glasses typically aren't the star of the tabletop show, but that doesn't mean they have to be boring. Nicole of Sketch 42 has created an affordable, clever option that reminds us the devil is in the details.

By dipping the bottoms of the glasses in nail polish suspended in water, Nicole created this fun, one-of-a-kind drinkware. I like the look, but I like it even more knowing that you can get it with supplies that are cheap or, if you already have a polish collection, free. This could be a great project to try with thrift store glasses or even your old standbys — after all, a bit of nail polish remover can easily get you back to square one.

Nicole offers lots of specific pointers on the supplies and process. Read more on Sketch 42.
