We are always looking for new ways to dress up shelves and here is one more funky design idea to add to the books...

Painting, striping and stenciling is always a great option to give a new little sum sum to your plain old (and sometimes cheap) shelves. Bri over at Design Love Fest has created a fresh new spin on her shelves with a great color palette of minty green, gold and white. Along with her well placed design she has created a fun and unique shelving with very minimal effort. Nice job Bri!

Shaw's Original Fir...
I like them but the design reminds me of surf boards. Cute.
It is cute. I've been wondering if I should add colour bands (or just white) at the ends of my wood shelves in my kitchen. I've been looking for an example for a while to make sure I'd be comforatable doing it. I might actual try it now.
Pretty, but more for decorative things than books which would obscure all that work...
Might make a cool table top as well...
Ummmm, I f'ing LOVE these
Ah, the great thing is the variation from one shelf to the next. If they were all the same, it would be flat, boring.
I'm thinking maybe just funky edge bands of color, too - that way I could buy MDF shelves and maybe just do decroative tape on the edges. (My shelves will be full full full, so patterns wouldn't show.)
